America's Crazy Train

The train has left the station and the conductor, Joey "Choo-Choo" Biden, is taking us on a one-way trip to Crazy Town with no stops.

At virtually the same moment that Karine Jean-Pierre was giving a White House briefing assuring Americans that the president has the border under control, El Paso Democrat Mayor Oscar Leeser was begging the federal government for money because of the thousands of illegals roaming his city. The southwest is in the middle of a cold snap and there are no shelters for people who were allowed into this country by virtue of Biden's policies. The illegals are mostly from Central America, where overnight lows plummet to a balmy 80 degrees. El Paso temperatures have been in the mid-20's.

The feds ponied up $7.38 million in assistance, but that is not even a drop in the bucket considering that President Numbnuts is letting Title 42 expire on Wednesday, December 21. What is Title 42? Contrary to what liberals want people to believe, Trump did not create Title 42.

Title 42 is part of the Public Health Service Act of 1944 aimed at preventing the spread of communicable diseases in the country. Whenever the U.S. surgeon general determines there is a communicable disease in another country, health officials have the authority, with the approval of the president, to prohibit “the introduction of persons and property from such countries or places” for as long as health officials determine the action is necessary. That authority was transferred from the U.S. surgeon general to the director of the CDC in 1966. Trump utilized it when the Covid pandemic broke out. In addition to keeping people who were seeking asylum in Mexico, he also halted incoming flights from China, where the pandemic originated (he was labeled "xenophobe" for that action by the liberal media, remember?).

Mayor Leeser has said that when Title 42 expires it will spell chaos for El Pasoans. He has issued a disaster declaration, saying he can no longer guarantee the safety of the citizens or migrants in his city. He doesn't have enough law enforcement, shelters, or personnel to deal with the current crisis, which sees an estimated 1,500 illegals coming into his city daily. When Title 42 ends, he expects 6,000 illegals per day. He wants to use Ft. Bliss to house them, which will take federal approval.

Here is what liberal California Governor Gavin Newsom had to say a few days ago about ending Title 42:

"The fact is, what we’ve got right now is not working and is about to break in a post-42 world unless we take some responsibility and ownership."

In the past, progressive liberals labeled any politician in favor of immigration enforcement an inhumane bigot. But now even the most liberal of the liberals are attacking Biden and his policies. The bottom line is that all countries have immigration laws and they are in place for a reason, to protect the economy and guard against crime and terrorism. Here is what the United Nations has to say about immigration:

Ensuring effective border security and management is essential for preventing and countering the flow of suspected terrorists and foreign terrorist fighters across land, air, and maritime borders. Border security and management is also imperative to curb the illicit cross-border movement of arms, ammunition, explosives, hazardous materials, goods and cargo that may be used for terrorist purposes ("goods and cargo" translates into drugs. Fentanyl and meth, two of the more prominent threats to the health and welfare of USA citizens, come almost exclusively from Mexican cartels and China. If you think the Chinese government is not behind the illicit manufacturing and exporting of these dangerous drugs in an attempt to destroy America internally, think again. The cartels are in it for the money; China is in it for the political exploitation).

Here is what the U.S. Department of State has to say about illegal immigration:

The illegal movement of people across international borders threatens national security and public safety, suppresses wages and strains public resources, and leaves immigrants themselves vulnerable to exploitation and abuse. It also undermines the rule of law by reducing citizens’ faith in the ability of government to enforce the law.

And here is what President Bill Clinton had to say about illegal immigration in his 1995 State of the Union address:

"All Americans … are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. The jobs they hold might otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants. The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers."

And in his State of the Union in 1996 Clinton said this:

"After years of neglect, this administration has taken a strong stand to stiffen the protection of our borders. We are increasing border controls by 50 percent. We are increasing inspections to prevent the hiring of illegal immigrants. And tonight, I announce I will sign an executive order to deny federal contracts to businesses that hire illegal immigrants.

Let me be very clear about this: We are still a nation of immigrants; we should be proud of it. We should honor every legal immigrant here, working hard to become a new citizen. But we are also a nation of laws."

Remember when we thought Clinton was the most ultra-liberal progressive we'd ever seen?

We have two more years of Joey Numbnuts to endure, and what is going to happen is anyone's guess. The only way this country is going to be put back on course and saved from progressive liberal stupidity is through the process our founding fathers put into place: democratic elections.
